Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arrived in style as they accompanied Deepika's father, Prakash Padukone. However, some fans have raised concerns that their relationship may be strained because when Ranveer attempted to hold Deepika's hand in a romantic gesture, she seemed to ignore him and walk away.

The paparazzi shared a video on Instagram that captured Ranveer Singh waiting for Deepika Padukone to exit her car. As they walked towards the venue, Ranveer, in a romantic gesture, offered his hand to Deepika, but she appeared to not acknowledge him, seemed to be adjusting her saree, and kept walking straight ahead. Eventually, Ranveer went ahead, and they both posed together on the red carpet. Though many might just perceive that as normal with humans, several social media users felt that Deepika ignored Ranveer on purpose.

After a video was shared online, some fans became worried and expressed that Deepika was disrespectful towards Ranveer's gesture. One fan wrote, "Their body language has changed completely... I feel, they had a fight before this even (sic)." Another fan commented, "Deepika is angry. She didn't hold his hand (sic)." A third fan wrote, "Something seems off... he isn't liking her posts... and she isn't holding his hand... it seems like their romance has ended quickly (sic)." Speaking of their outfits, Deepika opted for a black saree with golden lace on the borders, while keeping her hair tied in a sleek bun. On the other hand, Ranveer looked handsome in a black suit.
