A report in Pinkvilla suggests that the Versova bungalow is not owned by the actor but by his mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui. The website's report even claimed that this means that the Raat Akeli Hai actor does not have any right to stop anyone from entering the house. Reports say that the caretaker of the actor's mother said that while Aaliya's children can enter the property anytime, Aaliya's entry is restricted.
The video shared by Aaliya showed her daughter crying inconsolably as she claimed she was not allowed entry into the property after she stepped out following an urgent call from the Versova police station. In the video she even claimed she only had Rs 81 in her bank account, and where should she go now!
The source was quoted as saying by the portal that the actor has already bought a lavish flat for his estranged wife in Mumbai in 2016 however, she has given it for rent.
Earlier a video shared by an entertainment portal showed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui was not allowed to enter his own house in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor was headed to meet his ailing mother, but he was stopped by his brother Faizuddin and a few others.
Amidst the legal battle, the Bombay High Court, last month suggested Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya to resolve their issues amicably regarding their children.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be next seen in Haddi, playing the role of a transgender.
