Dunki Release Time: Here’s When Shah Rukh Khan & Taapsee Pannu’s Comedy Drama Will Have Its First Show

Shah Rukh Khan has turned out to be the box office king this year with the phenomenal success of Pathaan and Jawan. Both the movies have recreated history at the box office and won millions of hearts. And while Shah Rukh is gearing up for his third release of the year - Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, fans are looking forward to another hit from the superstar. After all, Dunki has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town.

From the trailer to songs, everything about Dunki has left the fans excited including the cast of SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in the lead. And while fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of Dunki, it is just one day left for the big release. Ahead of the release, there have been speculations about the first day first show timings of this Shah Rukh starrer. Fans have been wondering if Dunki will have early shows like Pathaan.

Well, Dunki will be hitting the theatres tomorrow at 7 A.M. Yes! The comedy drama is not having any early morning shows as of now and will be having its first show at 7 A.M across India. Interestingly, the makers had begun the advance booking of Dunki a week before the big release and the movie has been receiving a phenomenal response. To note, Dunki has minted Rs 11,14,86,322 [11.15 Cr] so far with the sale of 3,93,772 (3.9 lakhs) tickets for 13,153 shows across India. Interestingly, Dunki is witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar and the action thriller is giving a tough competition to Rajkumar Hirani directorial.

Meanwhile, Dunki is expected to have a fantastic start at the box office. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated that Shah Rukh Khan starrer will be off to a "fantastic start". He stated, "Dunki will definitely see Rs 30-35 crores+ which is a fantastic number for a non holiday. And I think there is a reason behind releasing it on 21st which is a Thursday, probably they would want the word of mouth to kick in by the weekend which is a smart strategy by the makers".
