The netizens have been all praises for the movie and called it an 'old-school desi entertainment'. A tweet read as, "Dunki lives up to massive expectations... Has it all: drama, emotions, comedy, beautiful songs and the charisma of #ShahRukhKhan. This is #RajkumarHirani Best Movie. All other actors also acted very well. A must watch family entertainer movie for all".
Another user gave Dunki 5 stars and wrote, "#Dunki has it all: Star power, Drama, Humour and emotions have always been the biggest strength of a #RajkumarHirani film. Expect a stand out performance from #SRK". The audience is also singing praises for Shah Rukh's performance especially in the first half.
What's Bad In Dunki?
On the other hand, a section of the audience isn't really pleased with Dunki and its story and found it quite boring. A Twitter user tweeted, "#Dunki Movie disappoints with Raj Kumar Hirani's weakest effort yet. SRK's performance falls short, lacking the usual charm. And the way he's speaking panjabi so ugly #DunkiReview". Another user gave the movie 2 stars and said, "Old hindi serial drama , Head ache comdey scenes. 2 scenes well written remaining totally dispointed, weakest work from Hirani sir"
Meanwhile, Dunki is expected to a decent opening at the box office and is likely to rake in Rs 30-35 crores at the box office today. Interestingly, Dunki will be witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas' Salaar and Jason Momoa's Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. It will be interesting to see if Dunki will manage to repeat the history created by Pathaan and Jawan at the box office and end 2023 on a happy note for Shah Rukh.
