Ektaa began by talking about her latest release, Thank You For Coming, and gave a befitting reply to a troll who urged her to stop making adult films.

She began by tweeting, "So I'm back briefly on Twitter before my team shuts me out for talking too much." She first reacted to a review that called Thank You For Coming 'disappointing'.

Defending her film, she said, "The amount of noise #thankyouforcoming is making Freedom cannot be decided and accuracy (don't talk about accuracy) toh aap chodd hi dijiye! On a positive note this review made me smile. Polarised content is what is the need of the hour."

Further, she gave the most sassiest response to trolls on the microblogging site. One told her, "Pls stop making adult movies," Ektaa replied, "No I'm an adult so I will make adult movies." Another one said, "Shame on you." She wrote back, "Ok shame on me."

Before signing off from X, Ektaa posted, "Signing off from Twitter !!! Xoxo #ThankYouforComing."

Well, her followers and other users were amused at Ektaa's witty and humorous retort to the trolls. Many netizens even appreciated her for being honest and straightforward about her work.

Ektaa Kapoor has been basking in the success of her latest two releases, Dream Girl 2 and Thank You For Coming. Both films have performed well at the box office. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in lead roles, Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the 2019 comedy film that went on to earn over 140 crore.

Whereas Anil Kapoor's daughter Rhea Kapoor's husband, Karan Boolani, directorial debut, Thank You For Coming, is making a decent collection, primarily at premium multiplexes. Backed by Rhea and Ektaa Kapoor, the film has an ensemble cast including Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh, and Karan Kundrra.
