ENT Highlights: Aaliya Siddiqui Slams Salman Khan For Being Biased; Shahid-Mira Kapoor Romantic Vacay PICS

During Aaliya Siddiqui’s legal spat with her estranged husband, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kangana Ranaut offered her support to the Tiku Weds Sheru actor. Now, Aaliya has reacted to the same and during an interview said, "I don’t pay attention to Kangana because her words hold no value. She pokes her nose in everything, she keeps speaking about everyone. In my opinion, her words have no meaning.”

Kartik Aaryan whose latest release Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani has hit the theaters was seen at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek blessings. A video shows the actor arriving at the temple premises with his bodyguard. The actor can be seen praying at the temple.

Ajaz Khan was recently released from jail after he completed his imprisonment of two years in a drug case. He was serving his jail term in Arthur Road jail. During an interaction with TOI, he recalled his unfortunate days and said, “Ek toilet mein 400 log jaate hain. Imagine the state of that toilet! I went through anxiety and depression. It was tough but I had to survive for my family, which comprises my 85-year-old father, wife, and son. I met many people, including former state home minister Anil Deshmukh, Sanjay Raut, Armaan Kohli, Aryan Khan, and Raj Kundra, inside the jail. You wouldn't want even your enemy to go through this. I initially refused to meet my son as I didn't want him to see me in prison, but met him eventually after six months, as I wanted him to know my story from me and become strong for the world.”

Siddhant Karnick who essayed the role of Vibhishan in Om Raut’s Adipurush has backed the film. He told Etimes, “I see my nephews and even some adult friends of mine wearing superhero T-shirts which are largely fictional characters like Spider-Man and Superman. And here we have our own itihaas (history) filled with superheroes and mythological gods whose stories and images are still in text form. We need to use pop culture smartly to pass on our gods' stories to the next generation of children, showing them that our gods are cooler and far more layered than fictional superheroes. I'm not saying we should shun Western superheroes. Not at all, but it's time we brought focus to our own gods and bring these stories in a language of superheroes that today's children are used to.”

The Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts has added 398 members to the list of academy members. The Indian names include Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Mani Ratnam, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Chaitanya Tamhane, casting director KK Senthil Kumar, MM Keeravani, Chandrabose, and documentary maker Shaunak Sen.
