The trailer for Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will be out on January 23. Sharing a new poster of the film, Shraddha wrote, "Objects in the picture are not as close as they appear...(winking face emoji). #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar trailer out on 23rd Jan at 1 PM." The film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, will be released on Holi, March 8, 2023.

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma’s next release is Zwigato. The film, directed by Nandita Das, was premiered at the 27th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Also starring Shahana Goswami, Zwigato will hit theatres on March 17, 2023. Kapil plays the role of a delivery executive in the film.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday dismissed an old case filed by actress Priyanka Chopra in 2008 against her former secretary, Prakash Jaju. In her complaint, Chopra accused Jaju of criminal intimidation and insulting the modesty of a woman. In 2022, Jaju filed a petition urging the FIR to be quashed as they had settled the dispute amicably. The court has asked Jaju to deposit a sum of Rs 50,000 towards the Maharashtra police welfare fund within a period of two weeks.

Shah Rukh Khan's grand comeback movie Pathaan has sold about 1.17 lakh tickets across the three national cinema chains, even though it was available at limited venues. Pathaan’s full-fledged bookings will begin today, January 20, one week before the film’s release. According to reports, the film is expected to earn around Rs 35 crore on its first day.
