Navratri festivities have been inaugurated by Narendra Modi through the release of a freshly composed song called "Maadi." Sung by Divya Kumar and composed by the Meet Bros, the Prime Minister of India proudly announced that he has personally written the lyrics for this Garba song. Notably, "Maadi" marks the second Navratri song penned by PM Modi this year, with his previous composition "Garbo" being unveiled just last Saturday. It is worth mentioning that Akshay Kumar has given a shoutout to PM Modi's song Garbo. Reposting Narendra Modi’s song on his Twitter account, Akshay Kumar wrote, “This is amazing @narendramodi ji! Sir ab aap hamare field mein bhi…hum kahan jayein?"

Akshay Kumar's film 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue' that was released in theatres on October 6 have been submitted for the Oscars 2024. The film features Akshay essaying Jaswant Singh Gill, a real life hero who saved 65 miners stuck inside a flooded coal mine. The film is set in the backdrop of a flooded coal mine in West Bengal's Raniganj back in 1989. The makers of the film have submitted it to the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences.
