According to ETimes, the unfortunate incident occurred while his wife, actor Suzanne Bernert, was in Hyderabad for a shoot. The report states that Akhil Mishra was in his kitchen when he slipped and suffered a fatal accident. His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Anil Kapoor recently won a landmark lawsuit against the misuse of his personality rights by artificial intelligence (AI). Through his lawyer Ameet Naik, Kapoor had filed a suit in the Delhi High Court seeking protection for his name, image, likeness, voice, and other attributes of his personality, including on digital media.
