Veteran screenwriter Prayag Raj passed away on Saturday evening due to age-related issues. He was 88. The veteran writer was best known for his work on Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster hits “Amar Akbar Anthony”, "Naseeb,” and “Coolie.” According to his son, Aditya, the writer breathed his last at his Bandra residence on Saturday. Raj’s last rites were performed on Sunday morning at Shivaji Park Crematorium in Dadar, Mumbai. Actor Anil Kapoor, who has worked with Raj on "Hifazat," took to his X account on Sunday and paid his last tribute. He wrote, “I’m truly saddened by the loss of the late Prayag Raj. Working with him on ‘Hifazat’ was a privilege. May his soul rest in peace.” He also shared a photograph with Raj from the sets of the movie.
