Tamil actor Siddharth, who was promoting his new film Chithha in Bengaluru, was forced to leave the event when pro-Kannada protestors walked into the venue, raising slogans and demanding the actor leave the promotion amid the Cauvery issue. According to India Today, the actor has now addressed the issue in a recently held press conference. The outlet quoted him, saying, “There was no bandh on September 28. We booked and paid money for a private auditorium to hold our press conference that day. All of a sudden, a few people came inside, and you all saw what happened there after that. Many lies were being spread that, for our selfish interests, we kept the press conference on a day when there was a bandh in Bengaluru. Nothing like that happened. There was no bandh that day. The bandh happened the next day. Nobody had any legal reason to stop my work that day. We truly did not do anything wrong." He further added, "The reason why I didn’t speak about that incident until now is because, instead of talking about Chithha, which is one of the best films I have worked on in my life, you are asking me about unrelated things as your first question. I’m very disappointed because of that. I’m speaking about it today since this is a press conference and all of you asked me about it."

Akshay Kumar's new film Mission Raniganj released in theatres today, October 6. The film has been receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences as well. On Friday, while interacting with the media, Akshay shared his wife, former actress and writer, Twinkle Khanna’s response to his performance in the film and read out a text he received from her. She texted him, "You are getting (good) reviews. Award-winning performance. So proud of you." Mission Raniganj is a biopic based on the life of the late Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill, an engineer who saved the lives of 65 miners during the 1989 coal mining accident in Bihar’s Raniganj.

Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh was massive hit. However, the actor during a recent interview with Pinkvilla revealed that he was not sure about taking up the role. However, it was his wife Mira Rajput who convinced him to do it. He said, “She just kept looking at me and after 5 minutes she was like 'just shut up and do it. It's the perfect film for you'. I was like 'really?', she was like 'Yeah. People love to see you in love stories, people love to see you in messed-up characters. This has both! Just do it!' Her thinking was so simple and I had overcomplicated it for myself and I guess it was good I did Kabir Singh."

Bollywood actor Imran Khan in a recent post opened up on taking steroids. Sharing a picture of himself flaunting his biceps and physique, he wrote a note that read, “I’m one of those hyper-metabolic people, my body just burns through whatever I consume. Oh no, what a terrible affliction! In my late teens, guys around me started joining gyms and working out. They started to expand, their biceps stretching the sleeves of their t-shirts. As per reports, Argentine actress and model, Jacqueline Carrieri tragically passed away during a cosmetic surgery procedure in Los Angeles, California. The cause of her unfortunate demise is believed to be a blood clot that developed during the surgery.

Bollywood Rhea Chakraborty during an interview with India Today opened up on the death of her boyfriend and Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a summon to Shraddha Kapoor today in relation to the Mahadev betting app case. The actor has been asked to appear before ED on October 6. Earlier, as per sources, Ranbir Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan, and Kapil Sharma also received summons from the ED.
