She candidly admitted to having made various mistakes in her life but expressed gratitude for not having been deprived of life's experiences. Sunidhi emphasized that, despite her past marriage ending, she bears no bitterness. Instead, she believes that each life experience has contributed to her becoming a stronger individual. Sunidhi entered matrimony with singer Bobby Khan at the young age of 18. Their union lasted for two years before they eventually separated and finalized their divorce in 2003. Subsequently, in 2012, she found love once more in the form of music composer Hitesh Sonik, with whom she tied the knot. Their family expanded when they welcomed their first child in 2018, naming him Tegh.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Atlee, the director of Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer Jawan revealed he would like to take the film to Oscars. He stated, "Jawan should go, if everything falls in place. I think every effort, everybody, every director, every technician who is working in cinema, their eyes are on the Golden Globes, Oscars, National Awards, every award. So, definitely, yeah, I would also love to take Jawan to the Oscars."

The film Staged around an Indian wedding will hit the theaters on October 27th. The film was launched with Ajay Devgn attached as Matru, but he chose to withdraw before filming could commence. I was riding high off the back-to-back successes of Delhi Belly and MBKD, and close to wrapping the shoot of EMAET when I got the call; Vishal Bhardwaj wanted to meet me! I was thrilled. He told me about his passion project, a story he had been carrying close to his heart.” He added, “I was anxious and terrified through the shoot of the film. I couldn't shake the feeling that Vishal had never really wanted me for this part, that my casting was based more on the budget that my presence could afford than the director's belief in me. And so it came to be that once we wrapped the shoot, I turned tail and ran, never looking back. I didn't even watch the final cut of the film when it was done.”

They have a tremendous friendship in their marriage. I've had dinners with them, meals with them, hung out with them. And there's a terrific kind of comfort in their camaraderie. He finds her hilarious, she finds him hilarious, for different reasons. So I felt it wasn't impossible for people who come from two different demographics of society, two stratas, to actually find love. It's like we put ourselves in boxes. Like when we're finding a relationship, we put ourselves in places where we're comfortable. But tomorrow, you can fall in love with someone anywhere,” Karan said in the interview.
