In a recent interview with Film Companion, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor shared an interesting anecdote about his father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur. Shahid revealed that Pankaj used to tease him about their family's genetic hair fall. Shahid mentioned being lucky to have dense hair, unlike his father who had experienced premature balding. He said, “When I saw my dad (getting bald), I was like, ‘Dad, this better not happen to me'. And he’d mess with me all the time. ‘Abhi toh tu hero ban gaya hai. Baad mein kya hoga tera when you won’t have any hair? Jab baal nahi rahenge toh acting karni padegi'. Maybe that's why I learnt acting (laughs)."

They said if they had to pay me, then the budget of the film wouldn’t get sanctioned because it was a very experimental subject. They really didn’t know if it would land at all but it was a very compelling kind of product to make and so I said, ‘Yeah, I will do it for free.”
