The simultaneous release of Prabhas' Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki on December 22 has created ripples throughout the entertainment industry. According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, high-ranking executives from Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment have reportedly initiated discussions with the producers of Animal to address the screen allocation conflict with Salaar. It's worth noting that both Salaar, starring Prabhas, and Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, are set to be distributed by Anil Thadani's AA Films. The report stated, "There was a worry among the makers of Dunki that AA Films might tell theatres that they would get a chance to play Animal, a very highly awaited film, only if they agreed to screen Salaar over Dunki on December 22. Many distributors in the past have indulged in this practice. Hence, senior authorities from Shah Rukh Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, reached out to the producers of Animal. The Red Chillies officials requested Animal’s producers to make sure that such a situation doesn’t arise where exhibitors are arm-twisted."

Recently, Tamil actor Vishal accused the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) of corruption. He revealed that he was asked to pay a bribe to get his latest film Mark Antony released in Hindi. Now, the censor board has reacted to the claims. CBFC released a statement that reads, “We have taken note of the allegations being reported very seriously and CBFC has zero tolerance for corruption.
