Ent Highlights: Vir Das Wins International Emmy Awards For Comedy; Ekta Kapoor Receives Directorate Award

Shah Rukh Khan's manager, Pooja Dadlani, surprised his fans a few hours ago after she posted some pictures of the star on Instagram. On her Instagram page on Tuesday, Pooja shared SRK’s pictures, in which he gave some different poses. For the photoshoot, the actor wore a white shirt, blazer, and grey trousers. He also wore dark sunglasses. In the first pic, he sat near a window and looked away from the camera, while in another, he kept one of his legs on the window sill as he smiled slightly. For the last photo, SRK looked outside the window with his hands in his trouser pockets.

An ad featuring Varun Dhawan was dropped by Prime Video, announcing the OTT release date of the biggest global hit of the year, Oppenheimer. The film will be available to rent on the Prime Video Store starting November 22 for just INR 149. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer is a biopic of the life story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist who is credited with being the "father of the atomic bomb". The film stars Cillian Murphy in the titular role of J. Robert Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh in key roles.

Further fueling the excitement around Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, SRK unveiled a new poster sharing a glimpse from Dunki: Drop 2 – ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’, the first song from the film, picturized on SRK (Hardy) and Taapsee (Manu) drops tomorrow. The new poster not only captures a snapshot of their on-screen chemistry but also promises an endearing tale filled with heart and humour. Get ready to witness the love between Hardy and Manu as they take you on a whirlwind journey this Christmas. Dunki Drop 1, the first video unit from the film, grabbed everyone's eye and piqued the excitement a notch higher. Following this, the makers dropped the posters that gave the audience a wider glimpse into its world, which is filled with love, friendship, and nostalgia attached to home. Now, the makers are all set to kick off the musical journey with Dunki Drop 2, Lutt Putt Gaya, releasing tomorrow. Dunki features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, starring along with Shah Rukh Khan and is slated to release on 21st December 2023.

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal are set to reprise their roles as Raju, Ghanshyam and Babu bhaiya respectively, in the third installment of the popular 'Hera Pheri' franchise. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Paresh Rawal provided an update on the release of the film and said that, "Hera Pheri 3 will arrive next year, somewhere towards the end of 2024. The shoot will begin next year."

During a recent interview with ETimes, Sidharth Malhotra opened up on marrying Kiara Advani and said that, “I have this one person I have dated, and obviously, there is so much love. I feel more responsible now; I feel like I have another person I have to take care of.” Appreciating his wife’s gestures, he added, “She motivates me to work harder. What binds both of us together is that both of us are very family-oriented. Both of us have that upbringing. Even though she grew up in Mumbai, she is very disconnected. Fighter starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan is one most anticipated projects by Siddharth Anand, who directed Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. With the film is set to release in theaters on January 25, 2024, fans are eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the upcoming release. As per reports by News18, while there is still time for the trailer of the film, the teaser will be dropped soon. A source was quoted as saying by the news portal, “A little bit of the post-production work is still pending. But the audience will get to watch the teaser of the film on December 1. It promises to be one of the most stylised films of our times and the teaser will truly be worth the wait. However, there’s isn’t much clarity on when they plan on releasing the trailer of the film.” An official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.

The makers of the upcoming action thriller, 'Singham Again' unveiled Ajay Devgn’s first look from the film on Tuesday today. Sharing the glimpse on social media, Rohit Shetty wrote, “Sher aatank machaata hai, aur zakhmi sher tabaahi! Everyone’s favourite cop, BAJIRAO SINGHAM IS BACK!… SINGHAM AGAIN…”
