Now, the filmmaker, Onir has reacted to KJo’s comment. Taking to Twitter, Onir wrote: “Big Bollywood releases get so upset when there is another big budget release the same day and they talk about how we should all care for each other in the industry, but don't think for a second when they deprive a small budget indie film of a tiny number of good shows to survive.”

Alia Bhatt, who is currently gearing up for the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will reportedly star in in Vasan Bala’s action-thriller. A source close to the development told PInkvilla, "Vasan Bala is known for his distinct storytelling and unconventional narratives. His film with Alia Bhatt also promises to be a refreshing and unique cinematic experience for Hindi audiences. Alia will be seen playing one of the most challenging roles of her career in this movie, and she is excited to go on this new adventure and explore a genre she hasn’t attempted before. Bala has written a cracking jailbreak story, and people who are aware of this project are already excited about it. This is going to be a heck of an interesting movie."

Netflix on Tuesday unveiled a new poster of Alia Bhatt’s character from her debut Hollywood film, Heart of Stone. The film also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in lead roles. Sharing the photo, Netflix wrote, "Alia Bhatt is coming to hack our hearts (heart with arrow emoji) and the Heart (man on laptop emoji). Catch all the thrills and chills from Heart of Stone on August 11, only on Netflix (heart eyes emoji). Heart of Stone..." Alia can be seen wearing a fur jacket in the photo and looking straight into the camera. Directed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone’s script is penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The film premieres on Netflix on August 11.

Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday are currency vacating in Europe. After a picture of the two having a conversation at a restaurant went viral, another video of the duo from their Doha vacation has resurfaced online. Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to wish her cousin sister Priyanka Chopra, who is celebrating her 41st birthday today, July 18. Parineeti posted an unseen photo from her engagement ceremony with Raghav Chadha, where PeeCee can be seen fixing her hair. "Happiest birthday Mimi didi. Thank you for everything you do. Pop singer Ariana Grande and her husband, Dalton Gomez, are reportedly separated after two years of marriage, the American weekly magazine People reported. The couple got married in 2021 in an intimate ceremony. As per the report, they split earlier this year in January but "have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship". The outlet further stated, "They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn't resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven't been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely."

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, known for her film Mean Girls, has welcomed her first child, a boy, the actress rep confirmed to Page Six. Lindsay had announced her pregnancy in March this year with husband Bader Shammas. As per the report, she has named her son Luai, which in Arabic means "shield or protector." Lindsay married Bader secretly last July and lives with him in Dubai. "The family is over the moon in love," her rep said in a statement.

Starring Tom Cruise in the lead and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 saw a massive drop on day 6 at the box office in India. The spy action thriller movie was released on July 12 and, on its opening day, earned Rs 12 crore. On its sixth day, the film collected Rs 5 crore nett in the country, taking its total collection to Rs 69 crore nett.

Kiara Advani revealed in an interview with Film Companion that she had auditioned for Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha but could not land the part. She added that she had auditioned for Kareena Kapoor’s role many years ago. "Yes, absolutely. In fact, I also auditioned for Laal Singh Chaddha. At that time I didn’t know it was for Laal Singh Chaddha. I really don’t want to see that audition though. I really must have been terrible. It was many many years ago," she shared.

Deepika Padukone’s look from the highly-anticipated Project K is finally here! The makers of the film on Monday night, shared the first-look of Padukone from Prabhas-starrer. The poster has the actress's close-up look and gives no hint about her character, keeping a mystery around her role. Sharing the poster, the film’s Production banner, Vyjayanthi Movies, captioned it: "A hope comes to light, for a better tomorrow. This is @DeepikaPadukone from #ProjectK. First Glimpse on July 20 (USA) & July 21 (INDIA)." The film also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan and is scheduled to release next year.
