Vivek Agnihotri who is currently working on his upcoming project, The Vaccine War has said that he is bankrupt, as whatever he made from The Kashmir Files, he put it into his upcoming film. During an interview with Hindustan Times, he said, “In my mind, Kashmir Files is a commercial success for you, maybe for Zee, for people who really made money. I am one of the beneficiaries, not the major beneficiary. It was the product of Zee. Whatever money I earned, I put into my next film which is The Vaccine War and I am bankrupt as usual. Pallavi and I were discussing that we are broke again. So for the next film, the struggle begins again.”

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar together inaugurated the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne today. In a video that is going viral on the internet, Karan Johar is seen heaping praise on Kartik Aaryan and also praising his films, including Satyaprem Ki Katha, and wishing 'more power to him.' Karan in the video is seen talking about Kartik Aaryan, who was also present at the panel. He began by joking about the actor getting married by the end of the festival and added, "Kartik's films have deeply resonated with the country and has always brought in so much fervour back to the cinema halls. More power to him. May his contribution to cinema always continue. Well done, Kartik."

Known for her classy dressing sense, Kangana Ranaut dropped a series of photos on Thursday night wearing a beautiful 3D floral organza saree with hues of red, green, and yellow from fashion designer Rohit Bal. Sunny Deol's action-drama Gadar 2 was released today. The action-packed movie has already created a massive wave at the box office. As per a report by Pinkvilla, Sunny Deol and the Gadar 2 team will be hosting a special screening for India's President Droupadi Murmu this Sunday, August 13, in New Delhi. Interestingly, the president's administration sought a special showing of the movie.

Actor Sunny Deol’s stepsister, Esha Deol, took to social media to wish the actor as his movie Gadar 2 released today. Wishing him good luck, Esha wrote, "Today let’s hear the lion roar… & reach soaring heights. Best wishes @iamsunnydeol." she also shared a poster of Gadar 2. The film is a sequel to Sunny’s 2001 hit movie of the same name. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the film also stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, and others.

Rohit Shetty announced Singham Again with Ajay Devgn last year. He had also revealed that Deepika Padukone would be playing the role of Lady Sigham in the movie. And now, as per reports, Deepika will be seen playing Ajay Devgn’s sister in the movie. According to a report, media outlet Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, "Deepika Padukone is all excited for Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. She will be playing the first female cop of the Rohit Shetty Universe and has already started prep work for this action-packed part. Deepika's character is more along the lines of a Lady Singham and has the arc of being Ajay Devgn's sister in the film." The source also added that Padukone has a full-fledged role in Singham, said, "It's a well-written role and more than just a cameo. It's more like a proper extended appearance for Deepika in Singham and she will be shooting for around 35 to 40 days."

Actress Rani Mukerji revealed at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne that she lost her five-month-old baby during her second pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic. The actress is married to producer Aditya Chopra. She also stated that she didn't talk about this while prompting Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, as it would have been taken as a promotional tactic. Talking about her miscarriage, she said, "Maybe this is the first time I am making this revelation because in today’s world every aspect of your life is discussed publicly, and becomes an agenda for talking about your film to get more eyeballs. Obviously, I didn’t speak about this when I was promoting the film because it would have come across as me trying to speak about a personal experience that would propel the film… so, it was around the year when Covid-19 struck. It was 2020. I got pregnant with my second baby at the end of 2020 and I unfortunately lost my baby five months into my pregnancy." She then added, "After I lost my baby, Nikhil (Advani) would have called me probably like 10 days later. He told me about the story and I kind of immediately… not that I had to have the loss of a child to feel the emotion but sometimes there is a film in the right time of what you are going through personally to be able for you to connect with it instantly. When I heard the story, I was in disbelief. I never thought in a country like Norway an Indian family would have had to go through."

Sunny Deol’s much-awaited Gadar 2 has finally hit the screens on August 11. The film is being hailed by fans as the ultimate mass entertainer. Meanwhile, taking to his Instagram page, the star sent a video message for his fans and asked them to forgive if there had been any mistake made by the Gadar family. He also urged people to go and watch the film in theatres. Sharing the video, he captioned it: "Aapke Tara Singh aur Sakeena ne aaj Apne Ghar ka Darwaaza khol Diya hai, Aap SAB Aayiye aur MILIYE humse." Watch the video here.

Actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta, who welcomed their son on July 20, recently celebrated the newborn’s namkaran ceremony as per Gujarati traditions and named him Vaayu Sheth. They also shared a video from the function where their family’s female members are seen holding the four corners of a bedsheet with the baby lying in it which seems like a cradle. Ishita and Vatsal, shared the video on Thursday evening, and captioned it, "Namkaran Ceremony of our little one. Vaayu Sheth. Thankyou for all the love and blessings."

Actor Tiger Shroff has reacted to reports that claim he has been dating Deesha Dhanuka. However, denying the claims, Tiger told ETimes that he is single. Clarifying the same, he said, "I thought I was linked to somebody else a couple of months back, but no, I’ve been single for the past two years." Deesha has not reacted to the dating rumours. Eaeleir, a report in the Bombay Times, stated that Tiger Shroff is currently dating Deesha Dhanuka, who works in a senior position in a production house and helps the actor find the right scripts. Reportedly, they started dating after Tiger and Disha Patani split. A source was quoted as saying, "They have been seeing each other for around a year-and-a-half. Deesha often gives him suggestions about scripts, while he has taken charge of her fitness. Tiger’s family is also fond of Deesha. Everyone is well aware of their relationship."
