On the occasion of singer Asha Bhosle's 90th birthday, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar shared a heartwarming photo featuring himself and his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, alongside the legendary singer. Also, he penned a heartfelt musical tribute to honor the iconic singer. Sachin took to X and wrote, “Dear Asha Tai, Itne saalon se 'Chura Liya Hai' aapki awaaz ne jo dil ko, par aapki awaaz ke saamne, 'Dil Cheez Kya Hai'. In a recent episode of "Untriggered with Aminjaz," Dalip Tahil was asked whether audiences disliking a character played by an actor in a negative role is actually a form of compliment. He recalled an encounter and said, “At Heathrow Airport in London, I was just about to go to the boarding place. And this girl came to me and she said, ‘Why did you beat Shah Rukh Khan so much? Why did you?’ She was clearly and totally besotted with Shah Rukh. And the way she said it to me, I began to feel really terrible.” Tahil emphasized that such things can indeed leave a lasting impact on individuals, especially those who are emotionally vulnerable. He shared, “So I said, ‘Well, he hit me as well.’ She said, ‘That doesn’t matter. You’re the bad guy. He’s going to hit you. But why did you do this to him?’ I mean, it has a deep impact on people’s minds, particularly people who are vulnerable.”

Actress Ankita Lokhande has finally reacted to reports of her pregnancy and the morphed pictures of her with fake baby bumps. Speaking to ETimes in an interview, Ankita said, "I think ye media mein chalta rehta hai (All this goes on in the media). It doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t care about these rumours. I see so many times memes about me. There are also pictures of me having a baby bump on YouTube and social media, but I don’t give it attention at all." Further, she added that she laughs when she sees her morphed baby bump in fake pictures and YouTube videos. Talking about it she added, "Whether it is my career, my wedding or having a kid, whenever it has to happen it will happen. I don’t worry about any biological clock, jab jisko aana hoga aajayega… koi rok nahi sakta bus Bhagwan ki wish honi chahiye."

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman opened up in her latest post about a heartwarming surprise that she received during her visit to Oslo in 2016. She said Norway honoured her by issuing stamps in her name with her photo on them. Sharing a photo on Instagram, she wrote, "In 2016, while attending a film festival in Oslo, I received a wonderful surprise on stage. I was being felicitated for my contribution to Indian cinema, when Norway’s Postal Department issued a special stamp in my honour. I was also presented with a giant replica of it and 60 stamps for my own use." Check out her post.

Veteran Tamil actor and filmmaker G Marimuthu died of a heart attack on Friday at the age of 57. He was recently in the Rajinikanth blockbuster Jailer. Film trade analyst and industry insider Ramesh Bala, confirming the news on X, wrote, "Shocking: Popular Tamil character actor Marimuthu passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest... Recently, he developed a huge fan following for his TV Serial dialogues... May his soul RIP!" In another tweet, he added, "He was 57…" He was known for his role in the Tamil television series Ethirneechal and had also worked as an assistant director. Reportedly, he collapsed around 8.30 am on Friday morning while he was dubbing for his TV serial Ethirneechal in Chennai. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On the release of Jawan, the makers organised a special screening of the film for industry people on Thursday, September 7. From Shah Rukh Khan to Sanya Malhotra, the entire of Jawan was present. Now, the inside pictures are out, and we see Shah Rukh’s girl gang from the movie posing with SRK and Deepika Padukone. Jawan actor and singer Aaliyah Qureishi took to her Instagram handle to share some inside pictures from the screening bash. The post featured her along with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Atlee, and other stars. Aaliyah captioned the post, "Happy Jawan day" and she added the hashtags #Jawan, #JawanGirl and #GoodToGoChief. Jawan is creating haoci at the box office and oped on a record-breaking Rs 75 crore on its release day.

Jawan director Atlee Kumar visited the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai on Thursday to see the audience's reaction to the film. He was captured by the paparazzi, and he made his entry into the cinema hall. Atlee wore a vibrant red sweatshirt and black trousers, and he also greeted the paparazzi with folded hands. Further, he went inside the theatre premises, where he was greeted by the audiences who were praising his film during their verbal interaction. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. The film hit theatres on September 7.

Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend, Saba Azad, joined him for his father's Rakesh Roshan's 74th birthday celebration. The veteran actor, director, and producer turned 74 on Wednesday, September 6, and on Thursday, he celebrated the special day with his family. He took to social media and shared a photo that featured his wife, Pinkie Roshan, Hrithik’s sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan, Pashmina Roshan, Suranika, and Eshaan Roshan, and Saba Azad also. It seems that Hrithik clicked the picture because he is missing from the family portrait. Rakesh is seen smiling and sitting to cut a cake. Along with the post, senior Roshan wrote, "Thank you family for the countless memories we have made together", with a heart emoticon.

Anil Sharma directorial Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Shakeena, was released on August 11 and has been having a historic run at the box office. But the film has slowed down after enjoying a successful 28-day run in theatres as Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan hit screens. It earned only ₹1.50 crore on Thursday, day 28, taking its overall collection to ₹ 510.59 crore. After Baahubali 2 and Pathaan, Gadar 2 is the third film to enter the 500 cr club in India. The film is a sequel to 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and also stars Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur in lead roles.

On the release day of Jawan, Thursday night, the makers of the film hosted a special screening in Mumbai, which was attended by several biggies of Bollywood. Actress Nayanthara, who made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Jawan, flew to Mumbai with her husband and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for her film's screening. She opted for a simple black top and also waved at the paps.

Kangana Ranaut was seen singing praises of Shah Rukh Khan and calling him to go to the cinema. She also went on to describe how the actor has redefined himself over the years. On her Instagram page, she lauded Khan for re-inventing himself from an ultimate lover boy in the 90s to a massy hero in his late 50s. She wrote, "From being the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to a decade-long struggle again to reinvent his connection with his audience in his late forties to mid-fifties and ultimately rising as the quintessential Indian mass superhero at the age of 60 (almost) Is nothing short of super heroic even in real life. I remember the time when people wrote him off and mocked his choices but his struggle is a master class for all those artists who enjoying long careers but must reinvent and reestablish. SRK is the cinema God that India needs not just for hugs or dimples but for some serious world saving as well."
