The Marathi film Baipan Bhari Deva, which is backed by Madhuri Bhosle and Jio Studios, has been making remarkable progress at the box office. Made on a small budget of Rs 5 crore, the film starring Rohini Hattangadi, Vandana Gupte, Sukanya Mane, Shilpa Navalkar, Suchitra Bandekar, and Deepa Parab has performed tremendously at the box office and has collected around Rs 30 crore at the box office in just 11 days. The film became the biggest opener in the Marathi film industry by earning Rs 6.10 crore. Baipan Bhari Deva is directed by Kedar Shinde.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's directorial biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, starring Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, and Divya Dutta in key roles, has completed 10 years. The film based on the inspiring life of India’s iconic athlete Milkha Singh and his journey to becoming the world’s champion was released on July 11, 2013. Taking to Instagram, Farhan shared an emotional note to mark the day. "It’s been 10 years since the release of a film that has meant a lot in my career and in my life. The fact that it also holds a dear place in your hearts is the cherry on top. Your love gave justification to the effort and sacrifices.
