Javed Akhtar took to Twitter and shared his review of Karan Johar’s latest release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The lyricist wrote, "Rocky aur Rani ki prem kahani ki prem kahani is one of the most entertaining Hindi films I have seen in recent years. If you love wit humour and strong emotions. Here is a must-watch."

A remake of one of the most iconic films, Gadar Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel is one of the biggest releases of 2023. Ahead of it’s release on August 11, Esha Deol gave a special shoutout to her half-brother Sunny as she reshared the trailer of the film on her Instagram story.

Raj and DK's next directorial venture, "Guns and Gulaabs," first look teaser was dropped today, July 28. The drama includes a stellar star cast, with Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salman, Gulshan Devaiah, and Adarsh Gourav in important roles. The series will premiere on the streaming platform Netflix on August 18, and the trailer will be released on August 2. Set in the 90s the story revolves around depicting love and innocence amid the world of crime, as per the official description of the series.

Christopher Nolan's biographical movie "Oppenheimer" is performing well even on its seventh day in India, surpassing Greta Gerwig's "Barbie". The film has managed to cross the Rs 70 crore mark at the domestic box office. Starring Cillian Murphy in the titular role, it has earned Rs 5.25 crore on Day 7, hence taking its total earnings to Rs 73.15 crore (nett).

Dhanush's upcoming action-packed drama movie "Captain Miller" teaser was unveiled on his 40th birthday on July 28. The period film is written and directed by Arun Matheswaran. The one-and-a-half-minute teaser is packed with complete action sequences showing Dhanush (Miller), who is a wanted criminal and is accused of murder and dacoity.
