The trailer for Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut film Jaane Jaan was dropped by the streaming platform Netflix on Tuesday, September 5. Also starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead, the film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and promises to be dark and full of intriguing moments. Based in Kalimpong, Kareena plays a single mom, Jaideep Ahlawat is a teacher, and Vijay Varma is a cop. Jaane Jaan looks very promising. Take a look here.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's son Zain turned five on Tuesday, September 5. On this special occasion, Mira took to her Instagram page and shared an adorable picture of Zain. In the monochrome photo, Zain was captured in a candid mood, posing sideways. Sharing the photo with a sweet note, she wrote, "Sugar, pizza slice and all things nice! Who knew I’d be happily wrapped around this little finger! Sharp mind and cuddly heart, keep rocking & rolling through life my son-shine! May the music always be loud! Happy 5th my Zainu." Shahid and Mira got married in 2015 and also have a daughter, Misha, who was born in 2016, while Zain was born in 2918.

Shahnaaz Gill, who is making her Bollywood debut with the Bhumi Pednekar-starrer comedy drama movie Thank You For Coming, shared a new poster of the film on social media on Tuesday along with the release date. The trailer for Thank You For Coming will be released on September 6, 2023. It features a star-studded cast, including Pednekar herself, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Karan Kundrra, and Anil Kapoor.

American musician Gary Wright, best known for his hit singles "Dream Weaver" and "Love Is Alive," has died at the age of 80. His death was confirmed by his son, Dorian, according to international news outlet Variety. The reason for his death remains undisclosed. Singer and versatile keyboardist, Wright was a founding member of the U.K.-based band Spooky Tooth and was much in demand in the late 60s. He was a native of New Jersey and had also been a child actor who appeared on Broadway in a version of "Fanny."

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's film crossed Rs 500 crore recently, and on Monday, day 25, saw a drastic drop as it added only ₹2.5 crore. Now, its total collection stands at ₹503.67 crore. Gadar 2 opened in theatres on August 11 and went on to become the second-highest-grossing film of 2023. It collected its highest single-day collection of ₹55 crore on Independence Day. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is a sequel to his 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and also features Ameesha Patel as Sakeena, Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, and Utkarsh Sharma as their son Charanjeet Singh. Meanwhile, it looks like Gadar 2 craze is slowly fading away as Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is nearing its release on September 7.

According to the latest development, actor Ayushmann Khurrana might play the role of former Indian cricketer and captain of India's cricket team, Sourav Ganguly, in his biopic. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor was rumoured to play the role. Talking about his next project in an interview with Pinkvilla, Ayushmann Khurrana was asked if he is considered to play the lead in Sourav Ganguly's much-awaited biopic. Not revealing much, the actor told the portal, "I'm not saying anything right now. We have to make an official announcement whenever and whatever that happens."

Ahead of Jawan release, Shah Rukh Khan visited the famous Tirupati shrine in Andhra Pradesh with his daughter Suhana Khan, co-star Nayanthara, and her husband Vignesh Shivan. Several videos of his visit are going viral on social media. Suhana and Nayanthara wore white salwar suits, while Shah Rukh was seen dressed in a white kurta-kameez and traditional south Indian white and golden cloth around his shoulder. He waved and blew kisses at his fans as they walked out of the shrine after the special morning darshan. Viral videos showed SRK and Suhana walking in the temple premises after paying obeisance.
