As per PinkVilla, “Dhadak was essentially an intense tale of love, with two protagonists fighting the society to live together. The filmmaker believes that this zone of going against all odds for love has the potential to get a franchise value. After contemplating several subjects, the filmmaker has greenlit a subject that qualifies to be a sequel to Dhadak." Now, Karan Johar has shared a post and denied the sequel. In his Instagram post, he wrote, “To put this on the record and for all concerned we (Dharma Productions) are NOT making a film with the title DHADAK 2 as is being reported in various articles…”.

Mahie Gill, who is best known for playing Paro in the critically acclaimed film Dev D has married actor-entrepreneur Ravi Kesar. Mahie and Ravi have worked together in a failed 2019 web series titled Fixerr.

A 27-year-old casting director and actor Aarti Mittal has been arrested by the Dindoshi police for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Mumbai. The operation was conducted by the social service branch of Mumbai police who sent two dummy customers and rescued two models, who have now been sent to a rehabilitation center.

It was speculated that Raghav Juyal and Shehnaaz Gill started dating during the shoot of their upcoming release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
