After Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021, Rani Mukerji has finally returned to the silver screens with Ashima Chibber's Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. While the film has been fetching a positive response from critics, the actress recently visited Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, to seek blessings. A picture in which Rani Mukerji is seen posing at the Golden Temple is currently doing the rounds on social media.

Directed by Nandita Das, Zwigato failed to get the expected opening at the box office. Featuring Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami, the film failed to grow throughout the day and did a business of just Rs 42 lakh. Zwigato is Kapil Sharma's third film after Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) and Firangi (2017).

According to reports, MC Stan's show in Madhya Pradesh's Indore was canceled due to allegations by certain members of the Bajrang Dal that the rapper was using abusive language in his songs, which they claimed was corrupting the minds of young people. It has been reported that those who caused a disturbance at the concert also chanted "Jai Shri Ram" slogans.

Riding high on the positive word of mouth, Rani Mukerji's Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway picked up momentum as the first day progressed and collected better than Kapil Sharma's Zwigato on Friday. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film collected Rs 1.27 crore at the box office on Day 1. Now, it'll be interesting to see how the movie fares during the weekend.

Taking to social media, filmmaker Karan Johar wished her mother Hiroo Johar on the occasion of her 80th birthday. After attending Oscars 2023, RRR star Ram Charan is finally back in India and is in Delhi currently. Ram Charan with his superstar-father Chiranjeevi met Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday evening. Following their meeting, Home Minister Shah shared a few photos with them on Twitter and referred to them as the 'two legends of Indian cinema' and wrote, “The Telugu film industry has significantly influenced India’s culture & economy. According to a statement by his publicist Mia Hansen, Lance Reddick, a character actor known for playing intense and sometimes sinister roles in TV shows and films such as The Wire, Fringe, and John Wick franchise, has passed away at the age of 60 due to natural causes. His death occurred suddenly on Friday morning. In addition to his role as a special agent Phillip Broyles on the Fox series Fringe, Lance Reddick also played the well-dressed Matthew Abaddon on Lost and portrayed the multi-talented concierge Charon at the Continental Hotel in the John Wick film franchise. He continued to play this role in the fourth installment of the series, which is scheduled to release later this month.

This Friday (March 17), saw three releases - Upendra and Kiccha Sudeep's pan-Indian film Kabzaa, Rani Mukerji's Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, and Kapil Sharma-starrer Zwigato. Despite receiving a hugely mixed critical response, Kabzaa has been doing well at the ticket window and is expected to earn around Rs 10 crore in all languages. The other two releases, however, opened low. The official figures are still awaited.
