Dipika Kakar who is expecting her first baby with Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that she suffered a miscarriage last year. During a conversation with TV Times, Dipika said, "That was the first time I had conceived and the entire family, including me and Shoaib, were in a different zone altogether. Naseeruddin Shah during an interview with India Today revealed that he has not seen The Kerala Story and doesn’t intend to see it. He was quoted as saying, “Worthwhile films like Bheed, Afwaah, Faraaz, all three collapsed. Nobody went to see them, but they are flocking to see The Kerala Story which I have not seen, and I don’t intend to see because I have read enough about it.”

Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker has weighed in her support of the protesting wrestlers. The actress slammed the government for protecting the Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in alleged sexual harassment accusations. She wrote on Twitter, “Stunning the lengths to which our govt. and its agencies are going to protect a rape accused! Absolutely shameful! #WrestlersProtest.”

During an interview, Laxman Utekar, the director of the upcoming film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, starring Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal was asked, why he did not cast Katrina Kaif in the film. Utekar was quoted saying, “Meri language Katrina ko samajh aayegi tabhi kar paunga (laughs). Aapko lagta hai Katrina kabhi small town ki heroine lagegi (I can do only if Katrina understands my language. Do you think Katrina will look like a small town heroine)? If we get a good script, I would love to work with Vicky and Katrina.”
