Mukesh Khanna recently shared details about the film based on his TV show, Shaktimaan. He told Hindustan Times, "Contract has been signed. Ye bohot bade level ki film hai. One film would cost ₹200-300 crore and it will be made by Sony Pictures, the one, who made Spider-Man. But it kept getting delayed, first there was the (Covid-19) pandemic, I had announced it on my channel too that the film is happening.”

It was said that they have signed a new Tamil film, that will be directed by Manthira Murthy. Now, it has been revealed that the news is not true. A source told IndiaToday.in, "Kangana and Madhavan have not signed any new film together. This news is totally false."

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are all set for their upcoming release, Satyaprem Ki Katha. The trailer of the film was unveiled today and it depicts their painful love story. The film is set to release in theatres on June 29. Check out the trailer here.

Gufi Paintal, who is known for essaying the role of Shakuni Mama in BR Chopra’s TV show Mahabharat (1980), has passed away. He was 79. The veteran actor passed away in Mumbai on Monday due to age-related concerns. The actor’s family issued a statement that read, “With profound grief, we announce the sad demise of our father Mr Gufi Paintal (Shakuni Mama). He passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by family.”

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog and mourned the sad demise of his onscreen mother, Sulochana Latkar. Remembering the late actress, Sr Bachcan wrote in his blog, “We have lost another great of our Cinema World - Sulochana ji .. the gentle, generous, caring Mother that played in several films with me .. she had been ailing for some time .. and this afternoon she left for her heavenly abode. I had been monitoring here condition with her family .. but finally the sad news ! We can only pray in such unforgiving circumstances ..”

Ketaki Kulkarni who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s 1920 Horror Of The Heart during an interview with Hindustan Times, recalled how nervous she was when her 12th board results were to be announced. The Barrister Babu actress said, “I had planned a trip with my friends but that got cancelled because of the results. My parents also wanted me to stay at home. I was fine earlier but that day, I was very nervous and locked myself in a room. My results were out ten minutes earlier (than scheduled) and my brother checked it and asked my mom to inform me. When my mom and brother knocked at the door asking me to step out, I kept saying ‘I will step out only when the results come’ My mom was like listen to what we are saying'. I was shocked to know I got 81%. I did work hard and was expecting something around 75% but 81 was a shock for me.”
