Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui in a recent interview opened up about what she openly talked about her personal problems. Talking to News18, Aaliya said that she would suffocate herself if she didn't talk about her issues. Adding that her life was at stake, Aaliya said, "Only I know what I went through mentally. One can imagine the kind of misery a person is in if they talk about their private matters in public. I still think that I shouldn’t have spoken about these things in public. But when you’re in deep trouble, you’ve to resort to a public forum because you’ve no one to listen to you...When you’ve no one listening to you, you’ve to fight. I took to a public platform because I wanted the media to understand what I was going through. I was going through some really deep difficulties and I wasn’t being able to tell anyone about it. I’ve been going through it for the past 12 years."

R Madhavan recently spoke about the criticism surrounding his film, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (RHTDM), particularly regarding its portrayal of women. In a recent interview, the actor shared that he and his team received suggestions on how to depict women in the film, but he had his own reservations and engaged in debates and arguments about it. He pointed out that those who criticize RHTDM for being chauvinistic could also be accused of the same for laughing at jokes about body weight in his film, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, where his character was referred to as 'Ye adrak hai, kahi se bhi badh raha hai.' Madhavan questioned the fairness of finding offense in gender politics in RHTDM but finding humor in jokes about body weight in Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

After a long wait, the makers unveiled the trailer of Vidyut Jammwal's IB 71 today. Directed by National-award winner Sankalp Reddy, the film marks the debut of action star Vidyut in production. The official Sunday figures of Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan are finally out and the film packs a solid punch in its opening weekend.
