Entertainment Highlights: Rishi Singh Wins Indian Idol 13; Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa First Weekend Collection

The shooting of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's most-awaited sequel, Pushpa 2, has been halted for a while now. According to a report by Bollywood Life, the movie’s director, Sukumar, is not satisfied with what has been shot for the sequel so far. The filmmaker is also said to "erase" all that has been shot till now and will be reshooting again. Therefore, the film’s release, which was scheduled for next year, might get postponed.

Salman Khan introduced yet another song teaser from his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, titled Yentamma. The clip shows Salman Khan and South star Venkatesh Daggubati twinning and grooving together in bright yellow shirts and lungis. Khan is also seen lying on the seat of a Royal Enfield bike. Vishal Dadlani and Payal Dev have sung the song, while a rap version has been done by Raftaar. Watch it here.

Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr Shriram Nene, were recently seen at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) gala in Mumbai. On Monday, Shriram took to his Instagram account and shared a few glimpses from the star-studded night. Madhuri was seen reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan, while she and Nene posed with Ranveer Singh. In another photo, Shriram was seen taking a picture with Zendaya. The couple also posed with Tom Holland and Jackie Shroff.

Sheezan Khan was released on bail last month in Tunisha Sharma's suicide case. Now, the actor who stood by him and his family during their tough times. Television famous face Mahhi Vij, who had contracted covid-19 has now tested negative. She updated her fans about the same with an Instagram video post. In the video, she can be heard saying, “Hey guys, I’ve tested negative for COVID-19 and will be going home today. I am very excited as I will get to meet the kids today. Muje bohot Acha lag raha hai ke main ghar jaa sakti hu.. baccho se mil sakti hu. Alia Bhatt was spotted in the city on Monday in a casual outfit, wearing a white tank top, which she paired with a sheer pink shirt and blue jeans, while she kept her hair open. The video clip shows Alia making her way through a narrow lane with her team while some kids in a nearby school building scream in excitement upon seeing her. After a cameo in Don’t Look Up, Bollywood actor Ishan Khatter has bagged another international project titled, The Perfect Couple. It is an upcoming limited-time series on Netflix starring Nicole Kidman, and Liev Schreiber as the lead. Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Isac, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani will be seen in pivotal roles in the series.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Bholaa witnessed a jump on Day 4 and put in a decent weekend score. On day 4, the film minted Rs 13.25 crore, and with this, the total collection now stands at Rs 41.25 crore.

Rishi Singh who hails from Ayodhya won the 13th season of the singing reality show, Indian Idol. He beat Kolkata’s Debosmita Roy to win the coveted trophy and prize money of Rs 25 Lakh. Later during an interview with ETimes, he expressed his desire to meet Arijit Singh and said he want to return to the show as a judge.
