Shaka Laka Boom Boom child actor Madhur Mittal will now play the role of legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan in his biopic titled 800. Earlier, Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi was roped in to play the part. Sharing the first look at Madhur as Muttiah Muralitharan on Twitter, the makers wrote, "The untold story of #MuthiahMuralidaran."

Priyanka Chopra and her sister-in-law Sophie Turner reunited at their husbands Jonas Brothers concert that happened at the Royal Albert Hall of London on Friday night. We lost contact with driver and car once we came out and I was standing for longer than usual and started sweating and (getting) uncomfortable, so he quickly wanted to get me in so I can sit and have water and some air. Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, who is in a relationship with Priya Banerjee wished her on her birthday with romantic pictures of them. The Rana Naidu actress turned 33 on April 16. The couple made their relationship official this year on Valentine's Day. Chrisann Pereira, the actress who has featured in Bollywood films including Sadak 2, Batla House among others has been booked in a drug trafficking case. The actress is currently jailed in UAE. Her family has called her the victim in the case. Her brother was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, “We have been through emotional torture in the last 2 weeks, my sister is innocent and has been framed in a drug racket.”

Ananya Panday who was last seen in Liger during an said that she wants to join forces with Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor for a women-centric film. He cited the example of SS Rajamouli’s RRR and praised it for its brilliance and said to Hollywood trade website Deadline, "Certainly a more diverse version and one that’s more international. Bollywood, for instance, is one of the more significant film businesses in the world but it has extremely minimal exposure outside of India. Thank God for movies like RRR, using a level of technical genius, visual effects, and mythological storytelling to appeal to a much wider audience. We learn about other cultures from movies like that. So, I guess, our goal would be empowerment. We want to support other markets as much as possible so their stories can get through in a broader way."
