ENT Highlights: Shah Rukh Khan Reviews Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2; Dream Girl 2 Witnesses A Decent Opening Weekend

During an interview with Humans Of Bombay, Sushmita Sen revealed Farah Khan apologised to her after Main Hoon Na. She said, "Farah Khan called, my director, and said, 'Sush, I have seen the final edit and I have to apologise to you. Shah Rukh of course has the role, Zayed and Amrita have a role, but you are barely there'. So I was like, 'That is okay Farah, we had a deal, you kept through the promise, and I kept through it. It is done, now don't worry about it'. But inside I was thinking, 'Oh no, I am barely there!' The (Main Hoon Na) screening happened at Film City. My phone starts ringing. And I don't know why Yash ji (Yash Chopra) is calling me, the whole gamut of the industry is calling. So ab darr darr ke (scared) I pick up the phone."

Kalki Koechlin who was recently spotted at her ex-husband, Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliya’s engagement bash opened up on their equation. She said, “I’m very much at ease now with Anurag Kashyap. We’ve been through so much together, and so much apart. We have reached a place of peace between us.”

Sunny Deol who is currently basking in the success of his latest release, Gadar 2 during an interview with BBC UK talked about struggling for work even after his film Gadar was a phenomenal success at the box office. Sunny Deol said, “Before that (Gadar), I had no issues. I wasn’t getting much work even when it (Gadar) was a much-appreciated film of the century.”. Stating the reason for same, the actor added that the world was changing and the Hindi film industry was becoming Bollywood. He added, “No projects came up. Right now, I can talk about it.”

Preity Zinta penned a heartfelt note as she mourned the demise of her father in law and shared a throwback pic with him. She captioned the post as, "Dear Jon, I will miss your warmth, your kindness & most of all your incredible sense of humor. As Gadar 2 continues to grab the eyeballs and maintain a strong hold at the box office, the movie has been labelled to be anti-Pakistan. Reacting to the same, Sunny Deol told BBC Asian Network, "See, it's basically a political thing mostly. It's not actually the people, genuine people, because at end of the day, it's all humanity there. Whether it's here or there (Pakistan), everyone's together. And even you'll see that throughout the film (Gadar 2), I never run anybody down, because I don't believe in running people down or anything and Tara Singh (his character in Gadar 2) is not that kind of a person."

Post the phenomenal success of Chandrayaan 3, Kangana Ranaut shared a pic of smiling ISRO scientists and lauded their simple living and high thinking. After music composer Uttam Singh accused Gadar 2 makers of using his unauthorised work, director Anil Sharma reacted to the allegations and Bombay Times, "I showed Uttamji all the songs. Mujhe hairani hai ki unhone ab aisa statement diya hai (I am shocked that he gave such a statement). Technically, the rights were with the label. Mera aur Uttamjji ka dil ka rishta hai aur yeh sab sunkar mujhe bahut hairani hai".

As Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience and an opening day collection of Rs 10.69cr, the comedy drama has witnessed a jump on the second day. Dream Girl 2 has reportedly minted Rs 14.34 cr on day 2.

As Gadar 2 continues to rake in good business and win hearts, Shah Rukh Khan has sung praise for Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer. During an interactive session on social media, when Shah Rukh was quizzed if he watched Gadar 2, he tweeted, "Yeah loved it!!"
