Esha Gupta Shares HORRIFYING Casting Couch Experience; Says, ‘When I Refused The Co-producer…’

Esha Gupta Casting Couch: Bollywood actress Esha Gupta who is known for her acting prowess and bold sartorial choices has come forward with a shocking revelation about her experience with casting couch in the film industry.

In a recent candid interview, Esha who is known for her roles in films like Jannat 2, Rustom, among several others shed light on two separate incidents where she was asked for sexual favors in exchange for professional opportunities.

ESHA GUPTA RECOUNTS UNSETTLING CASTING COUCH EXPERIENCE

Esha during her interview with Spotboye, recalled one of the horrifying incidents and said, "The film was half completed. When I refused, the co-producer told the maker that he did not want to see me in the film. What am I doing on set? After this, some makers even refused to cast me in films. I had heard that these people used to say about me that if I won't do anything then what is the point of taking me in the film?"

Sharing the grave details of the another incident, the actress said they were in an outdoor shoot when two people laid the 'trap of casting couch'. Esha added, "There were two people who laid the trap of casting couch. I had understood but I still did the film because it was a small move from their side. He thought that I would fall into his trap during the outdoor shoot. I was also smart, I said that I would not go to sleep alone. I called my makeup artist to sleep in my room."

Expressing her frustration and anger, Esha said that such incidents will not happen with starkids, as their parents would kill them. Further, condemning the predators in the film industry said, "they think that if we need work then we can get anything done."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Esha Gupta is currently gearing up for her upcoming projects, Desi Magic and Hera Pheri 3.
