Ex-Cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan Seeks Ban On Salman Khan’s KKBKKJ’s Yentamma Song; Calls It ‘RIDICULOUS’

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan: Bollywood actor Salman Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead will hit the theaters on April 21, 2023. The makers of the film recently dropped a peppy track Yentamma from the film.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has been making a buzz ever since its announcement. The film's teaser also created a lot of hype and now all the Salman Khan fans are waiting with bated breath for the upcoming release. Salman Khan recently took to Instagram and announced that the trailer of the film will be released on April 10.
Well, it's not just the teaser or the poster or the teaser that is creating a buzz but the songs of KKBKKJ are equally appreciated for their distinctive taste. Among others, the latest peppy track featuring Salman Khan along with South stars Ram Charan and Venkatesh Daggupati has received massive applause.
While fans cannot help but groove to the song's catchy beats, it has seemingly disturbed a section of South Indian people who feel the song has degraded the South Indian culture.
LAXMAN SIVARAMAKRISHNAN SLAMS MAKERS OF KKBKKJ
Recently the former cricketer, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan slammed the makers of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan for "degrading South Indian culture" in his tweet. "This is highly ridiculous and degrading our South Indian culture. This is not a lungi, this is a dhoti. A classical outfit which is being shown in a disgusting manner," he said in his tweet.
He even urged the Central Board Of Film Certification to ban the song and added in another tweet, "Nowadays people do anything for money. Won't they research what is a Lungi and a Dhoti. Even if it's a set, it's being projected as a temple. People associated with the movie should realise, no footwear inside the temple premises. Appealing to@CBFC_India to consider to BAN this."
Meanwhile, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is helmed by by Farhad Samji. Apart from Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde, the film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar in pivotal roles.
