RICHA CHADHA IS NUMB AFTER HEARING NEWS OF SATISH KAUSHIK'S DEATH

Fukrey star Richa Chadha, who met two days ago at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's Holi party, is shocked after hearing about his demise.

Talking exclusively to Richa Chadha about Satish Kaushik's sudden demise, Richa Chadha said, "I don't know how to begin, he first met me after Gangs Of Wasseypur, in 2012- 2013, almost 10 years ago. He spoke to me, he wanted to do a film, he was just really very encouraging. He always used to say it doesn't matter if you are an outsider or insider or whatever. He said, if you have talent, you will succeed. He was always very kind, encouraging, sweet, always full of life, making people laugh, full of anecdotes, full of stories from his AD days, from the days he started directing."

RICHA REVEALS SHE HAD PLANNED TO MEET SATISH KAUSHIK FOR A MEAL

She added, "I had the opportunity to spend time with him on multiple occasions, once on a flight, once we met at his house, once we discussed some scripts. Basically, he was everyone's favourite. He had seen a lot of trouble and a lot of grief also in his life but he was just always optimistic, always grateful, in good spirits. It is genuinely a loss for the industry. I am a little numb that we just played Holi, the photo on the internet is from 2 pm on 7th March and we are talking at 10 am on the 9th that he is gone. It's really very very shocking to me. Both Ali and I are very gutted that we had made a plan to meet for a meal in this month of March. I am now feeling quite terrible and heartfelt condolences to the family."

May his soul rest in peace!
