EXCLUSIVE! Tanu Grewal Says 'My Heart Was Always Stuck In Pollywood, If I Went To Bollywood Or Hollywood...'

Rising star Tanu Grewal is making waves in the Pollywood industry. The actress is known for her roles in hit films such as Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga (2022) and Shava Ni Girdhari Lal (2021). Apart from this, she has also done a lot of hit music videos with popular actors.

Tanu, in an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, spoke about her journays and how she got connected with Punjabi cinema.

The actress reveals that she always thought of being a part of the Punjabi Film Industry. Tanu shared,"Growing up, I have always been more inclined towards Punjabi culture over any other, whether it be the movies, the music, the language, or the dressing. Gradually, I felt deeply connected to it which intrigued me into wanting to be a part of Punjabi Cinema."

She added, "I would say that my heart was always stuck in Pollywood, so if I had gone to Bollywood or Hollywood instead, I wouldn't be in the right place. I believe in the fact that a person should be where their heart belongs to. I am glad to be a part of the Punjabi industry as it feels like home."

Lastly, talking about her journey, the actress said, "My journey has been going well. I have learned so much from my experiences. It sure has its ups and downs, but those are a part of everyone's career. I'm just grateful that things are sorted and moving ahead. The most important thing for me is the acceptance that I have received in this industry. I love what I do, and having the audience enjoy it as well, brings a whole another level of satisfaction.

Professionally, Tanu's work is growing continuously as she will be seen in the upcoming films Maujaan Hi Maujaan, Munda Southall Da, and Outlaw.
