Mrunal Thakur Cannes Debut: Actress Mrunal Thakur graced the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023 red carpet, marking her debut at the renowned event. She stunned in a black monokini ensemble paired with a shimmering black blazer, exuding sheer glamour.
This was Mrunal's first appearance on the red carpet of this coveted international film festival. Joining her in making their Cannes debut on Tuesday (May 17) were Sara Ali Khan, Manushi Chhillar, and Esha Gupta. The anticipation for actress Anushka Sharma's Cannes debut is also high.
MRUNAL THAKUR DEBUTS IN CANNES LACE PANTS AND SWIMSUIT
Mrunal Thakur officially made her Cannes debut in a Dhruv Kapoor shimmery jacket, which she wore over a netted swimsuit by Studio Verandah and lace pants. To complement the glittery outfit, the actress wore statement earrings from Vandals World and paired her outfit with Christian Louboutin shoes.
Taking to Isntagarm, Mrunal shared a series of photos from her terrace photoshoot and wrote, "I didn't come this far to only come this far. #YesICannes Ready to take on the @festivaldecannes experience. Join me on this glamorous little journey #StayTuned."

FANS REACTION TO MRUNAL THAKUR'S CANNES DEBUT LOOK
Meanwhile, as soon as Mrunal posted her photos, fans were quickly reminded of her character in the Telugu film Sita Ramam (2022) and said her look is very different from her character. While some called her the next national crush and complimented her style.
However, many were disappointed in her look and called it too bold.

Earlier, before leaving for Cannes, Mrunal spoke to news agency ANI and said, "I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. It is an honour to represent Grey Goose at such a prestigious platform. I am looking forward to interacting with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities, and showcasing the talent that Indian cinema has to offer."
