Satish Kaushik Death: Bollywood actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away on Thursday, March 9. His death news sent shockwaves to the film industry. The veteran actor who was known for his role as Calender in Mr India suffered a heart attack in Gurugram. He was 66. His last rites were performed in Mumbai.

Satish Kaushik's mortal remains were brought to Mumbai after a postmortem. Bollywood celebs rushed into his residence for offering their last respect. Bollywood celebs including, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Arjoon Kapoor among several others met the bereaved family of the late actor. The videos and pictures from his residence made everyone emotional. One of the videos shows Bollywood actor, Salman Khan getting teary-eyed at the funeral. Salman and Kaushik shared a great bond. The Bhajrani Bhaijaan was seen struggling to control his tears.

Earlier Salman Khan had shared a picture with Satish Kaushik on Instagram and wrote, "Always loved cared n respected him n shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace n strength to family n loved ones. .. #rip Satish Ji". The picture also feature Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan.

For the unversed, Satish Kaushik was a part of Salman Khan's upcoming release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The late actor plays an important role in the film. The film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Pooja Hegde, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, and others. The film is slated to release during Eid this year.

Satish had earlier shared a reel on the film's song, Naiyo Lagda along with the caption, "Love this song. Could not stop making this reel @beingsalmankhan @realhimesh @imkamaalkhan @palakmucchal3 @adachikan."

Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika.
