On the auspicious occasion of Father's Day, we revisit Manushi's latest interview where she spoke about her proud win and looked at her parents from the stage!

Manushi still cannot miss the moment when she was on stage, standing tall amongst the top 5 contestants, waiting for her name to be announced as 'Miss World'!

While talking to a leading news website, Manushi had mentioned, "I just remember for the first time in my life, the amount of pride I saw in my father's eye, I was like 'oh my god, I don't care if I win this or not, I have done'". Apart from her global win, Manushi is truly a desi at heart and is truly a family girl, especially her papa's favourite!

Meanwhile 2017, Manushi represented India at the Miss World competition held in Sanya, China. Her intelligence, beauty, and confident personality won the hearts of the judges and audience alike. She became the first Indian contestant to win the Miss World title since Priyanka Chopra's victory in 2000.

Manushi Chhillar has also ventured into the entertainment industry. She debuted in Bollywood with the historical drama Prithviraj, starring alongside actor Akshay Kumar.
