Kharab Film Banaoge Toh…: Salman Khan Reacts On Hindi Films Not Faring Well At Filmfare Conference (VIDEO)

Filmfare Awards 2023 Update: The 68th Filmfare Awards is all set to take place very soon to honor technical and artistic excellence in the Hindi film industry. The announcement was made at an event yesterday (April 5) which was attended by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan among others.

At the event, Salman looked dashing as always and was in a great mood. Well, the Dabanng superstar is going to host the main event and his fans are already exited.

During the press conference, the superstar also shared his views about most of the Hindi films not faring well in recent times. This year too, only Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Ranbir Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar managed to performed well so far.

Talking about most of the Hindi films flopping at the box office, Salman said, "I've been hearing this from a long time ki hamari jo Hindi picture hai wo chal nahi rahi hai. Kharab picture banaoge toh kaise chalegi yaar? Simple. Ab har ek ke dimag mei ye hota hai ki hum Mughal-E-Azam bana rahe hai, Sholay bana rahe hai, Hum Aapke Hain Koun bana rahe hai, Dilwale (Dulhaniya Le Jayenge) bana rahe hai, but wo eventually banti nahi hai. Kyunki aaj kal ke kuch directors, jinke saath maine interact kiya hai, naam bhi le sakta hoon par lunga nahi, wo poore Hindustan ko Colaba se lekar Anderi tak hi samajhte hai. Jo ki wo (poora) Hindustan nahi hai."

He added, "Aajkal ke bade cool directors, producers hai ki bade iss type ki picture banaenge, par wo chalti nahi hai. Humko dekhna hai Hindustani content. Ye mai bol raha hu toh isiliye bol raha hu kyunki meri film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan aa rahi hai. (laughs) Toh ye mujh pe bhaari nahi padna chahiye. Bada bada bol raha tha ki ye konsi picture bana rahe hai aur ye dekho inhone khud kya banaya hai. April 21 ko release ho rahi hai Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, ye material rakh lena bhai, shayad kaam aae."

For the unversed, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is helmed by Farhad Samji and stars Pooja Hegde opposite Salman. The much-hyped films also features Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Palak Tiwari among others in important roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on April 21.
