Akash Heading To Hip Hop International Dance, Arizona, After Winning Silver Medal In Indian Championship

One of the biggest names in the short-video market, India's popular social media app Josh is also known for providing a respectable platform to its creators. Today, we're going to talk about Josh creator Akash who has indeed come a long way.

A full-time choreographer by profession, the 27-year-old youngster hails from Mumbai and is a B.Com graduate from HR COLLEGE of Commerce and Economics. Speaking about his family, his father is a government employee while his mother is a housewife. In his journey as a dancer, Akash has worked as an Assistant Choreographer in various dance reality shows and he even personally trained several celebrities, including Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor who is one of his favourites.

Not just that, his first Bollywood film as the main choreographer is coming soon and he's super excited about it. Interestingly, he's already a silver medalist in the Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship which was a proud moment for Akash, his family, and friends. This year, he will be representing India in Hip Hop International in Pheniox Arizona.

Talking about his journey, Akash stated that he used to practice every day to make his dance moves look different from others. He firmly believes that if you don't have a groove in your dance, you ain't different. Talking about his stint in the Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship, the Josh creator revealed that he just went to see the battle and decided to participate in just two minutes and the rest is history.

Akash practices at least 2 hours every day when he trains others and then jams with his boys in the evening. The young lad further revealed that he started his journey with Josh last year as he choreographed a music video featuring all the Josh influencers. While teaching them a hook step, Akash started talking to one person from Josh and that's how he got to know about it. And ever since he's been a part of the Josh Community.

Later, he was even invited to JOSH creator's event, Creatorthon in Jaisalmer, which he describes as the best trip of his life till now. He got an opportunity to share the limelight with none other than Malaika Arora, here's the glimpse.

On being asked about advice he wants to give to other artists, Akash asks them to make their own trends and don't follow others. According to him, an individual becomes an artist when he/she creates something new. Well, we totally agree with him.
