Gadar 2: Hema Malini Reviews Step-Son Sunny Deol’s Film; Says ‘Ye Picture Dekh Kar Ek Dum….’

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. After all, their recent release Gadar 2 has been shattering records at the box office and continues the winning spree even after 10 days of release. The Anil Sharma directorial features Sunny and Ameesha reprising their respective roles of Tara Singh and Sakina.

Gadar 2, which released on August 11, opened to rave reviews from the audience and fans are in awe of Tara Singh's swag yet again. From the storyline to music, everything about the movie has been winning hearts. Amid this, Sunny Deol and Gadar 2 made the headlines after his step mother Hema Malini reviewed the film recently.

During her recent media interaction, Hema Malini showered praises on Gadar 2 and said that it has given a beautiful message of brotherhood to both India and Pakistan. "Gadar 2 dekh kar aayi hu. Bahut hi acha laga. Jo expected tha vaise hi tha aur bahut hi interesting hai. Aisa lag raha tha ki 70s aur 80s ka... us zamane ka film ke jaisa ek daur hai. Wo us daur tak le ke aaya hai. Anil Sharma ne bahut beautiful direction kiya hai aur Sunny is superb and Utkarsh also, Anil Sharma Ji's son, unhone bhi bahut sundar acting kiya hai. Aur jo nayi ladki jo hai wo bhi bahut achi hai. Ye picture dekh kar ekdum rashtra ke prati jo bhaav hona chahiye patriotism, wo bahut hai. Hindu aur Muslim ke prati jo bhaichara hona chahiye us vishay ko last me le kar aaye hain. It is a nice message for India and Pakistan," Hema Malini was quoted saying.

Meanwhile, Gadar 2 is roaring loud at the box office and has entered the coveted Rs 300 crore club within just 9 days of release. In fact, the movie is likely to touch Rs 350 crore mark on the 10th day today. Interestingly, Gadar 2 witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi's OMG 2 and has given a tough competition to the satirical comedy.
