Abhishek
Bachchan
is
one
of
the
most
talked
about
celebs
in
the
industry
and
he
has
proved
his
mettle
time
and
again
on
the
big
screen.
And
now,
the
actor
is
making
headlines
for
his
upcoming
movie
Ghoomer.
Also
starring
Saiyami
Kher
and
Angad
Bedi
in
the
lead,
Ghoomer
happens
to
be
a
sports
drama
which
is
slated
to
release
on
August
18
this
year.
Interestingly,
Ghoomer
has
been
grabbing
the
eyeballs
ever
since
the
makers
have
dropped
an
impressive
trailer.
And
while
the
audience
has
been
eagerly
waiting
for
the
release
of
Ghoomer,
the
first
review
of
the
movie
is
out
and
drops
hint
about
this
R
Balki
directorial
being
a
best
film
of
2023
so
far.
The
review
was
shared
by
self
proclaimed
critic
who
emphasised
that
Ghoomer
deserves
a
National
Award.
He
also
hailed
Saiyami's
performance
in
the
film
and
gave
it
5
stars,
"Saw

PERFORMANCE.
For
the
uninitiated,
Ghoomer
is
inspired
by
the
story
of
Karoly
Takacs,
the
late
Hungarian
right-hand
shooter
who
went
on
to
win
two
gold
medals
in
Olympic
with
his
left
hand
after
his
right
hand
was
severely
injured.
The
movie
features
Saiyami
as
a
cricketer
while
Abhishek
Bachchan
plays
the
role
of
her
mentor.
Talking
about
Ghoomer,
R
Balki
stated,
"Ghoomer
is
a
unique
story.
It's
almost
like
inventing
a
new
ball
in
cricket.
It
is
a
story
of
a
girl,
a
cricketer,
who
loses
her
hand
and
how
a
person
inspires
her
to
become
a
champion.
To
me,
the
trip
on
Ghoomer
was
to
discover
something
new
in
sports.
We
have
seen
so
many
films
on
cricket.
Nobody
wants
to
see
another
cricket
film."
