NMACC Gala: American supermodel Gigi Hadid was one of the invitees at the launch event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. While her stylish appearances grabbed eyeballs, it was her dance video with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan that broke the internet.

A video from the second day (April 1) of the gala night went viral on social media. The video shows Gigi Hadid joining Varun on stage for an impromptu dance performance. The Bhediya star lifts Gigi in his arms, twirls her, and then plants a kiss on her cheek. The video was shared extensively, and Varun Dhawan was brutally criticized.

Earlier in the day, Varun Dhawan slammed the trolls and said that it was all planned.

Taking to his micro-blogging site Varun wrote, "I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather than going out and doing something about things. Good morning."

Now, Gigi has taken to his Instagram and reacted to the viral video. Gigi was seemingly unaffected by all that went around. Sharing a capture from her impromptu dance with Varun, she wrote on her Instagram, "Varun Dhawan making my bollywood dream come tru."

Meanwhile, Gigi attended the seconf day of gala in a white and gold embellished saree with a gold statement blouse from the shelves of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla label. She accentuated her look with golden bangles.

Apart from Gigi Hadid, the guest list for the launch also included several Hollywood stars including Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, Tom Holland, and other celebs.
