Global Excellence Awards Refutes Uorfi Javed's Claim Against Madhuri Dixit; Reveals Why She Was Uninvited

Uorfi Javed Madhuri Dixit Controversy: Model-actress Uorfi Javed recently made allegations against Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit and lashed out at the organisers of an award show for un-inviting her at the last minute.

The social media sensation took to Instagram to share the episode and said that the organizers told her that she was dropped from the event as her name was not on Dixit's guests list.

UORFI JAVED CLAIMS MAHDURI DIXIT GOT HER DISINVITED FROM AN EVENT

While sharing a post of Madhuri from the event's red carpet on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Uorfi had revealed that she was also invited to the event. Mentioning that she had kept an outfit aside for the awards show, Urfi added that her invitation was cancelled at the last minute and claimed it was Madhuri's team that got her uninvited.

Uorfi wrote, "Fun fact about this event - they reached out to my team inviting me, I accepted the invitation, cancelled my plans, arranged my outfit, last moment they told me team that I'm no more invited - when we asked them the reason they said I'm not on Madhuri's guest list (what a weird reason)."

Further she lashed out at the organisers and added, "Bhai Mai mar nahi rahi kahi jaane k liye (I am not dying to go anywhere) but to tell someone not to come last moment after inviting them. Grow some balls or borrow from me!"

EVENT ORGANIZER REFUTES UORFI JAVED'S CLAIM

The event in question was the Brand Empower's National Quality Awards 2023, which honoured several companies, organisations, artists, and professionals for their exceptional quality and leadership. '

After Uorfi Javed' claims spread like wildfire and soon turned into a controversy. Reacting to Uorfi's claims, the organizers' CEO, Rahul Singh, took to Instagram and shared a video refuting her allegations against Madhuri Dixit.

Clarifying on why Urfi was not invited, Mr Singh said that Madhuri Dixit was the guest of honour at the event and had no role in Uorfi's invitation to the awards show. Requesting the media not to publish any defaming articles on Madhuri, he further added that the actress is one of the most celebrated stars of the country.

He also requested Urfi to not make any such false claims about Madhuri Dixit. He then went on to explain in the video why the Bigg Boss OTT star was not invited to the awards event.

Sharing the video, Mr Singh wrote," Reason why @urf7i Was not invited to Brand Empower's. Global Excellence Awards 2023 ! Being the organiser of Brand Empower's Global Excellence Awards 2023, its our prime responsibility to keep our guest of honour unharmed directly or indirectly, therefore, we are publishing our official statement on the controversial statement by Uorfi Javed."
