The
tweet,
which

Govinda
issuing
a
clarification.
The
actor's
tweet,
which
expressed
concern
over
the
escalating
tensions
and
urged
for
peace,
read,
"What
have
we
come
down
to?
Shame
on
the
people
who
call
themselves
Hindus
and
do
such
things.

Hum
democracy

Despite

deletion,
screenshots
of
the
tweet
spread

In
response
to
the
tweet,
Govinda
took
to
Instagram
and
informed
that
he
did
not
tweet
about
the
incident
as
his
Twitter
was
hacked.
In
a
video
message,
he
addressed
his
friends,
fans,
and
the
people
of
Haryana,
and
said,
"All
the
people
of
Haryana
who
are
my
friends
and
fans,
I
want
to
say
that
my
Twitter
account
has
been
hacked
by
someone.
I
haven't
even
been
using
Twitter
for
many
years.
My
team
has
confirmed
that
they
have
not
tweeted
anything.
They
don't
even
post
anything
without
asking
me.
I
will
complain
about
this
matter
in

NUH
VIOLENCE
The
incident
came
amid
a
backdrop
of
recent
violence
in
Nuh,
where
a
mob
clashed
with
a
Vishva
Hindu
Parishad
procession,
leading
to
tragic
fatalities
and
injuries.
The
disturbance
subsequently
spread
to
Sohna,
an
adjoining
area
in
Gurugram
district,
prompting
the
Union
Home
Ministry
to
deploy
additional
central
forces
to
the
region.
Reports
indicate
that
mobs
in
Sohna
engaged
in
stone-pelting
and
arson,
damaging
property
and
causing
disruptions.
