Gumraah Twitter Review: Fans Hail Aditya Roy Kapur-Mrunal Thakur’s Film As ‘Best Double Role Twist…’

Gumraah marks the return of Aditya Roy Kapur with another thriller after the stupendous success of 'The Night Manager'. After setting the buzz high with an intriguing trailer, the action-thriller was released today April 7 in theaters. Gumraah sees the fresh pairing of Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur.

STORY OF ADITYA ROY KAPUR AND MRUNAL THAKUR'S GUMRAAH

A remake of Arun Vijay's Tamil film, Thadam, the crime thriller presents the story of two identical twins Ronnie and Arjun Sehgal, who essay completely different characters. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Vedika Pinto, and Deepak Kalra in pivotal roles.

The murder mystery sees Kapur as the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of a young boy. The case is investigated by Inspector Shivani essayed by Mrunal Thakur and Shiren played by Ronit. The cops find evidence against one of the twins. Things get complicated and take an unexpected turn when the cops discover the lookalike of the prime suspect.

Prior to its release, Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur hosted a special screening of the film. The screening was attended by several Bollywood celebs including Vidya Balan, Ronit Roy, Anees Bazmee, Bhushan Kumar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Asha Negi amongst others.
