Actress Hashneen Chauhan needs no introduction as the talented diva has carved a niche for herself by delivering back-to-back impressive performances in the Punjabi film industry. Her latest film, Maurh, which stars Ammy Virk and Dev Khraoud in lead roles, finally arrived in theatres on 9 June and the actress has been receiving love and appreciation from the audience for her cameo role in the movie.

Spilling beans on her character in the film, she says,"I played the character of a Devi, a mythological figure. Jeona Maurh is a big worshipper of Naina Devi and in his life, Devi plays a great role. So my character in the film holds a lot of importance and I thoroughly enjoyed playing this character a lot."

Further revealing the kind of response she is receiving, she says, "The response to 'Maurh' has been amazing to say the least. Playing a 'Devi' has been an incredible and enriching experience as an artist. While I am grateful and ecstatic, I am humbled by the response I am receiving for my performance in the film."

Hashneen is fondly known for her role in the web series Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree. She has featured in popular films including Tunka Tunka, Chausar The Power Games and Batch 2013. The talented actress impressed the audience with her performance in the Punjabi film Sab Fadey Jaange.

On the professional front, Hashneen will be next seen in the flick 'Maujaan Hi Maujaan'.
