Hema Malini Opens Up On A Deplorable Demand Of Filmmaker: Hema Malini is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished actresses of her era. Popularly known as the 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood, she has never shied away from speaking her mind when it comes to her career and personal life, including her marriage to Dharmendra.

During a recent interview, the yesteryear superstar shared a rather shocking incident with a filmmaker. She also opened up on how Raj Kapoor had approached her for the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram, despite knowing that she would not accept a role like that.

HEMA MALINI SAYS A DIRECTOR ONCE MADE A DEPLORABLE DEMAND

During the interview with Lehren, Hema Malini revealed that a director wanted her to open the pin of her saree. She was quoted as saying, "He wanted to shoot some kind of a scene. I always put a pin on my saree. I said, 'saree niche gir jayegi' (the loose end will slide down). They said that's what we want."

Hema Malini, during the candid conversation, also expressed her observations regarding filmmakers not taking efforts towards making actors look good on-screen. She even revealed that she did not want to return to the cinema industry.

Furthermore, she talked about the film, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, and shared that Raj Kapoor told her about the film. Hema shared "He said this is such a film, you will not do it but I am keen that you do it." The veteran actress added that her mother, who was also present there moved her head in dismissal.

Hema Malini and Dharmendra recently grabbed headlines after Dharmendra posted an apology to Hema and their two daughters for not personally extending an invitation to them for their grandson Karan Deol's wedding.

Karan, son of Sunny Deol, recently got married to Drisha Acharya. However, Hema and her two daughters did not attend the celebrations.
