Jacqueline Fernandez Is Not A Part OF Case: Sukesh Chandrasekhar Protects Actress In Rs 200 Cr Extortion Case

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been in news lately for her alleged involvement in the Rs 200 cr extortion case, in which her boyfriend and conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar is a prime accused. Sukesh is currently serving jail term in Tihar jail and has been accused of extorting Rs 200 cr from the wife of an ex-Fortis promoter.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar Defends Jacqueline Fernandez

In the latest development in the case, the conman was presented before the Delhi's Patiala House Court, where he made a statement about the Ram Setu actress. Sukesh reportedly told the court that Jacqueline has no connection in the case and even added that he is there to protect her.

As per a report in India Today, Sukesh was quoted as saying to the court "Jacqueline is not a part of this case, she does not need to worry, I am there to protect her."

Sukesh Wishes Jacqueline On Valentines Day

Earlier this month, Sukesh had told the reporters to wish Jacqueline Fernandez a happy Valentine's Day on his behalf after he was presented at Delhi court by the Economic Offences Wing. He was even asked for his reaction on Jacqueline's statement that he used her, on which he said, "I don't want to comment anything about her. She has got her reasons to say. I don't want to say anything about her. When you love someone, you try to protect them."

Sukesh had earlier issued a press statement via his lawyers claimed that even though he was in a 'serious relationship' with Jacqueline, Nora Fatehi used to 'brainwash' him against Jacqueline. The Print had quoted Sukesh as "Nora used to try calling me at least 10 times a day and if I don't answer the call, she used to keep on calling me."

For the uninitiated, during an earlier interaction at the Patiala House Court, Jacqueline Fernandez made several shocking revelations about Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The cirkus actress said, "He never mentioned he was calling from jail. Or, that he was in jail. He used to call from one corner with a curtain and a sofa in the background."
