Jawan Box Office Collection | Shah Rukh Thrilled With Atlee Directorial Crossing Rs 400 Cr: Mera To Jawab Nahi

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After all, it has come up with a stellar cast of King Khan, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani etc. And as Jawan created a substantial buzz, it witnessed a grand opening at the box office with an impressive collection of Rs 65 crores.

Interestingly, in its 9 days journey so far, Jawan has managed to create several box office records and have set new benchmarks proving that Shah Rukh is the ultimate king of box office. From highest opening, highest third day collection to becoming the fastest hindi movie to cross Rs 100cr, Rs 200cr, Rs 250cr, Rs 300cr and Rs 350cr mark at the box office.

In fact, Jawan registered another record to its name after it became the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 400 crore today (day 9). Interestingly, Jawan managed to beat two of the biggest releases of the year - Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan crossed the mark on the 12th day of release.

Needless to say, Shah Rukh Khan is over the moon with the stupendous success of Jawan and during the recent event, he was seen expressing his love towards the audience for the love coming his way for the movie. During the event, King Khan was all praises for his co-stars and spoke about the hard work which the entire team had put in together for around 4 years.

Shah Rukh said, "Bahut kam mauka milta hai ki ek film ke saath hum itne saalon tak jeete hain. Jawan has been in the making for four years.... of course because of Covid and time constraints. But there were so many people involved in this film, specially people down from the South who came and shifted to Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years, working day and night for this film - the hardest ever. Bht log apne ghar bhi nahi gaye, bht saare log hain jinke bache yahan par ho gaye, mere director Atlee and it's very seldom that we are able to present to the whole press of India, the technicians behind the film - the wonderful Deepika Padukone the stunning, all the ladies in the film are beautiful, I think Vijay Sethupathi is outstanding aur Sunil Grover kamaal hai aur mera to jawab hi nahi. Is film ke asle hero aur heroines wo technicians hain jinhone is film ko 4 saal se banaya".

Meanwhile, Jawan has also become the fastest Bollywood film to cross Rs 700 crore mark worldwide on day 9. According to a tweet shared by film industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan, Jawan has raked in Rs 684.71 cr globally in eight days of release. Given the collection trend SRK starrer has been following, Jawan is likely to cross Rs 700 crore today. It will be interesting to see which other records Jawan will be breaking in the coming days.
