Known for being grumpy, the actress-politician, however, was in a rare good mood at the birthday party. But she got vexed as the papas asked her to look into their cameras.

Jaya arrived at Hema Malini's 75th birthday celebration on Monday night, accompanied by Padmini Kolhapure and Rashmi Thackeray. In a rare moment, the veteran actress was seen smiling and happily posing for photographers with her friends.

In a video that is going viral on the internet, Jaya can be seen in a traditional ensemble and gajra in her hair. As she arrived at the photo booth for snaps, she told the shutterbugs. Jaya told the media with a laugh, "Yeh Padmini mujhe yaha le kar aayi hai."

Someone from the photographers replied, "Jaya Ji ko lana bohot mushkil hai." The three ladies were seen posing happily and chatting in between as they posed for the cameras. However, as the paps kept telling Jaya where to look at the cameras, she snapped at them and said, "Avi aap log itna direction mat dijiye."

She concluded the photo session with a courteous namaste gesture before walking away with Padmini. Earlier, while arriving at the podium, she was seen putting her finger on her lips as paps shouted at her.
