today.
Sooraj
Pancholi,
who
was
the
prime
accused
in
the
Jiah
Khan's
suicide
was
acquitted
by
the
special
CBI
court.

IN
MUMBAI
Earlier
in
the
day,
Sooraj
Pancholi
reached
the
court
for
the
hearing
of
the
final
verdict.
He
was
accompanied
by
his
mother
Zarina
Wahab
in
the
court.
As
soon
as
the
mother-son
duo
reached
the
CBI
Court
special
Central
Bureau
of
Investigation
court,
they
were
swarmed
by
the
fans
and
media
present
outside
the
Mumbai
court.

ARRIVING
AT
THE
COURT
FOR
THE
VERDICT
IN
JIAH
KHAN
CASE
Earlier
today,
Sooraj
was
spotted
leaving
his
residence
to
reach
the
court
for
the
final
hearing.
He
opted
for
an
olive
green
shirt.
Sooraj
was
visibly
nervous,
as
he
was
captured
by
the
media.
It
was
reported
by
TOI
that
as
the
date
of
the
verdict
is
inching
closer,
the
prime
accused
in
the
case,
Sooraj
Pancholi,
and
his
family
is
getting
anxious,
however,
they
have
stayed
positive
about
the
outcome.
A
member
of
the
Pancholi
family
revealed
to
ETimes
that
"Going
by
the
merits
of
the
case,
the
entire
family
is
positive.
But
we
are
also
anxious
about
the
verdict
which
is
slated
to
come
out
on
April
28
in
the
Special
CBI
Court
number
52."
Earlier
this
month,
the
Hero
actor
denied
being
responsible
for
his
then-girlfriend,
Jiah
Khan's
suicide.
He
maintained
that
their
relationship
was
good.
He
was
put
558
questions
by
a
special
court
in
connection
with
the
actress's
suicide,
which
he
answered.
Sooraj
Pancholi
was
accused
of
abetment
of
suicide
of
his
then
partner,
Jiah
Khan,
who
is
best
known
for
her
roles
in
Ghajini,
Housefull,
and
Nishabd.
Jiah
was
found
hanging
at
her
residence
by
her
mother,
Rabia
Khan
on
June
3,
2013.
Jiah
allegedly
wrote
a
6-page
letter
describing
her
relationship
with
Sooraj
Pancholi.
Following
the
actress's
death,
her
mother,
Rabia
accused
Sooraj
and
his
family
of
'mistreating'
her
daughter.
